Tonight I attended the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. I went to the Regal American Mall Stadium 12 in Lima and attended the 12:01 showing with a few friends from school.

Review: Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters

So begins Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, a book that, like its predecessor Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, takes a classic tale of romance and adds to it the element of monsters.

After seeing Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, I wondered if the screenwriter of the movie even read the book the movie was supposedly based on or if he just got a summary from Wikipedia.

Although come to think of it, even Wikipedia with all its editors can give a better synopsis of Rick Riordan's epic novel The Lightning Thief than the screenwriter of this movie did.

“Avatar” 3D

    Before I saw Avatar, I must say that I was a 3D skeptic. The half red, half blue glasses of the past made me dizzy, and though it was cool when virtual objects were flying towards you at high speeds, it just wasn’t worth the headache that inevitably ensued afterwards.
