Gregg Luginbuhl's ceramic works Rustic Decanter V, Rustic Decanter VI, and Rustic Decanter w/Five Cups, are currently on display in the invitational exhibition Form Figure Function: Contemporary Ohio Ceramics at the Springfield Museum of Art through April 3.
The exhibition features sculptural, figural, and functional clay work by 17 Ohio contemporary ceramic artists. The show will travel to the Zanesville Art Center and the Canton Art Institute following its run in Springfield.
At the opening reception of this show on Jan. 30, Gregg learned that two of these institutiions had acquired one of his works for their permanent collections: Rustic Decanter VI was purchased by the Canton Art Institute, while Rustic Decanter V was purchased by the Springfield Museum of Art.
