Minnesota college choir performs at Trinity Lutheran March 9

The 61-voice Martin Luther College Choir from New Ulm, Minnesota, will present a concert "Speak, O Lord" at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, at 7 p.m.,Tuesday, March 9.

The choir will sing familiar Christian hymns accompanied by brass, organ, timpani, piano, woodwinds and strings. There is no admission charge but a freewill offering will be received to help cover tour expenses.

Martin Luther college is the worker training college of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

The congregation continues its mid-week Lenten series at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 10.

Pastor Jeff Bolwerk will preach on "Jesus of Nazareth is Passing By-Facing the Enemy" and the choir will sing "His Father's Plan." At 5:30 p.m., a baked potato supper will be served by the youth of the church.

Everyone is welcome to attend the supper and the service. The church is handicapped accessible and more information is at trinitylutheran-jenera.org
