Common Grounds teams up with Public Library in 75th anniversary promo

Common Grounds Coffeehouse & Caf'e is designating its popular Highlander Grogg blend as the "Readers' Choice" in recognition of Bluffton Public Library's 75 years of service.

"Books and coffee are a popular combination. The library is vital to our community and we are proud to do whatever we can to help, especially during periods of reduced state funding," owner Phil Zimmerly shared.

Beginning Sept. 1, 2010, a portion of sales for each bag of Readers' Choice (Highlander Grogg) sold will be donated to the library. This fundraising program will continue until Sept. 1, 2011.

"We are excited about this new partnership with Common Grounds. Phil's ongoing support is invaluable to the library and to the community. Strong community support is what makes this library such a treasure," library director Cindi Chasse said.
