Flea market and history presentation July 1 by S.H.A.N.N.O.N Service Club

The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club (Sharing Hopes And Nourishing Needs Of Neighbors) has several activities planned during Bluffton's sesquicentennial week, according to Duane Bollenbacher of the club.

July 1: Street Fair/Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be held on Church Street between Main and Jackson. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids' activities will be provided, including free face-painting. July 1: Free presentation of "Shannon for a Day": The Shannon Theatre and the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club are teaming up to present the history of the Shannon Theatre, and the history of the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club.

This will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Shannon Theatre. A short presentation of these histories will be made by Duane Bollenbacher, followed by the showing of the video "Bluffton, USA," a video produced in 1974 by WBGUTV. Then a repeat of the histories will be made. Admission is free.
