School work picnic

Bluffton elementary students Ellia and Levi Zink decided to do some of their school work outside on a nice day earlier this week. They had a “school work picnic.” The Icon will post photos of students learning in an at-home setting. Send photos, art work, writing assignments and class projects to: [email protected].

State of Our Organization: COVID-19 Response and Plan Part III

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) will hold a “State of Our Organization: COVID-19 Response and Plan Part III” through Facebook Live to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic, the response plan for BVHS and answer questions from the community.

President and CEO Scott Malaney and Dr. William Kose, vice president of special projects, will speak to the community for a third time on the pandemic and updates on the health system’s response from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30.

I hope that this note finds you happy, healthy, and at peace!

This week is National Volunteer Week, and it is hard to say something meaningful and extraordinary in these uncertain times.  Although this is challenging, and changes are being made, we all look forward to the time when again we can unite.
