BFR offers lots of free Keeping Active activities

The second week of Keeping Active programs will begin on Jan. 27 at BFR Sports and Fitness.

Four more weeks of free events, demonstrations, and fitness options will be included. Individuals as well as families are encouraged to learn more about healthy eating and add more activity to their routines.

The Keeping Active program offers something for everyone:
• free days to use the indoor track,
• free family and youth activities
• as well as fitness classes for adults of all fitness levels,

The Power Team performs at Ebenezer Mennonite Feb. 26-March 2

The Power Team will perform at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Wednesday through Sunday, Feb. 26-27-28 and March 1-2. They will also present an assembly at Bluffton High School at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28.

Performances are 7 p.m. on each evening except on Sunday, March 2, when the performance is at 4 p.m.

The Power Team is a group of world class athletes who have performed the world’s greatest exhibitions of power, strength, speed, inspiration, and motivation in every state and in over 40 countries for almost 40 years.

Bluffton PTO Bakery Bingo Feb. 1

Bluffton Elementary PTO invites Icon viwers to its winter Bakery Bingo night. The event is from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, in the middle school cafetorium, according to Melissa Knauss, PTO president.

"We want to invite everyone to the event to enjoy food, play Bingo and win a baked good of their choice, 50/50 drawing at the end of the event, and raffle drawings for our themed baskets with each classroom sponsoring a basket, along with many wonderful businesses from Bluffton sponsoring items in baskets also," she said
