It's sinister, it's seniors and it's sabotage

That's Marley Runk (teacher) giving a lecture to several of her students. Actually, it's part of the cast of the Bluffton High School Drama Club fall presentation "The Sinister Senior Sabotage." It will be on the middle school stage Nov. 13 and 14. Watch for more photos,  some interesting videos and ticket details coming soon.

A brief Introduction…
Throughout my life, I’ve always appreciated the lives, and history of the people I’ve met. I love hearing their stories, stories I hope to share with you in these interviews.

I feel that no matter who we are, or where we come from, our roots grow deep and wide, and even though we may not know each other well, we are all a valuable, meaningful part of the same community.

University nutrition association's benefit dinner tonight at First Mennonite

The Bluffton University Nutrition Association (BUNA) will hold its annual fall benefit dinner, from 5-7 p.m. today, Nov. 6 at First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit both the Bluffton Community Assistance Corp. and the Lima-based Churches United Pantry.

All are invited to attend this year’s dinner, which will include homemade soup, bread and dessert. The BUNA students will be serving those who attend.

Volunteers needed Saturday AM - Ream display

Lynda Best of the Village Cultural Affair Committee say the Ream Holiday Folk Art Display cutouts will be placed on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Lights and cutouts will be put in place. This is a call for all volunteers to assist!

Fresh Modern Fabric open during Saturday's Christmas open house

Fresh Modern Fabric, 103 1/2 Vine St., Bluffton, is participating in this weekend's downtown Christmas open house.

The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, according to Alice Essinger, owner. Fresh Modern Fabric is located on the second floor.
