The weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Or so the song goes. Thursday was one of those snows day in Bluffton. Bob Holt removes the white stuff from the sidewalk on College Avenue in front of the high school.

AdvoCare offers Icon viewers a $100 cash challenge

Hoffman is offering a $100 prize for the biggest personal transformation of Icon viewers in 2014.

AdvoCare is a health and wellness company offering energy, weight-loss, nutrition and sports performance products along with business opportunities.

2013 weather summary - looks pretty normal to us

Considering weather conditions, 2013 had the feel of a “normal” year in Bluffton. The monthly totals provided by Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, confirm that.

Annual summaries from 2006 to 2013 are in an attachment at the bottom of this story.

Precipitation for 2013, at 41.13 inches falls in the not-too-little, not-too-much range, when compared to records back to from 2006.

Snowfall of 34.7 inches appears to compare to normal snowfall over the past eight years – 2006 being the exception with only 11.9 inches.

Free movies at the library in January

Three movies will be shown at the Bluffton Public Library during the month of January. The series will start on Monday, Jan. 6, and continue on Monday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 27. Movies will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the lower level and popcorn will be provided.
