Gregg Luginbuhl leads Forum to feature arts at Bluffton

Art, music, creative writing and theatre will take center stage in Bluffton University’s Yoder Recital Hall for a forum showcasing Bluffton’s arts programs at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Gregg Luginbuhl, a professor and chair of art at Bluffton, and Philip Sugden, an assistant professor, will create artwork throughout the program. Andreas Baumgartner, also an assistant professor of art, will use the computer program Photoshop to design a poster for display on a screen in the hall.

Other presenters will be Dr. Lucia Unrau, a professor and chair of music, performing a piano solo and accompanying a vocal solo by Dr. Crystal Sellers Battle, an assistant professor; Drs. Jeff Gundy and Susan Carpenter, a professor and associate professor, respectively, of English, each reading from their writing; and Dr. Melissa Friesen, an associate professor and chair of communication and theatre, introducing a scene from “The Real Inspector Hound,” the play she’s directing on campus Nov. 8-11.
