Softball downs Hiram and Muskingum to wrap up Florida

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Bluffton University softball team opened up their final day in Florida against the Hiram College Lady Terriers. A great team effort was the key to Bluffton's 3-2 win over Hiram as the Beavers improved to 5-4 on the year while the Lady Terriers stayed winless at 0-11.

Scouting for Food - Scouts will pick up your donations on Saturday AM

Bluffton Boy Scouts will collect non-perishable, non-glass food items in Bluffton on Saturday morning.

Last Saturday, Bluffton residents receive a yellow plastic bag, to be used for this week's collection.

The yellow bags should be placed on front porches (easily seen from the street) by 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The Scouts continue to perform this much-needed community service annually.

Testing and more testing on the school calendar

What's happening this month at the Bluffton elementary school? Where do we start? Let's start with testing. 

TESTING DAYS:  Second grade students will take achievement tests in math and reading the week of March 14

New state tests will be given April 20-21 for grades 3-5 in English/Language Arts.  On April 22 and 27, grades 3-5 will take Ohio Math tests.

Baseball drops 10-2 decision to Dominican

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Bluffton University baseball team could not overcome a rough start and fell to the Dominican University Stars, 10-2, on Thursday, March 10. The loss drops the Beavers to 2-4 on the season, while the Stars won their third straight contest to bump their record to 4-4.
