Selma Diller retired as a nurse's aid from Hilty Memorial Home

Selma L. Diller, 87, of Pandora, died at 5 p.m. May 28, 2013 at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Feb. 9, 1926, near Pandora to Edward and Mary Wenger Miller.
  

Mrs. Diller grew up on a cane mill farm in rural Pandora. She graduated from Pandora High School in 1944. After marriage, she worked at the Triplett Corp., Bluffton, the Amstutz Cannery in Pandora, Pandora-Gilboa Schools and retired as a nurse’s aide from the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.  

Survivors include two sons, Tom Diller and Steve Diller both of Findlay, two daughters, Kay (John) Borgelt of Findlay, Karen (Ray) Morris of Pandora, 10 grandchildren, Elisa (Neal) Newhof, Mandy (Paul) Bishop, Tina (Ben) Ruetz, Kim (Kevin) Beach, Lindsay Diller, Britton Diller, Eric (KJ) Hermiller, Stacy (Bruce) Alt, Kris (Nick) Bellman, Jenni (Brandon) Reichley, 18 great grandchildren, a son in law, Roger Hermiller and a sister in law, Ellen Mae Miller. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Hermiller, a daughter-in-law, Mary Diller, a brother, Paul Miller and divorced husband Howard Diller. 

Private graveside services will take place in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora.  Pastor Rick Hart will officiate. 

A celebration for family and friends will take place in the Central Lounge at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Sunday from 4-7 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilty Memorial Home or Putnam County Hospice.
