The Ohio High School Athletic Association’s annual referendum voting period is May 1-15.

Changes to the OHSAA constitution and bylaws can only occur by a majority passing vote of the member schools, which each have one vote cast by the principal. Ballots must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 15, with results scheduled to be released on Monday, May 18.

The athletic discussion meetings are intended for superintendents, high school principals, high school athletic administrators, 7th-8th grade principals, city supervisors and board presidents. Media members are also welcome to attend. A maximum of four administrators per school are permitted.

At each meeting, OHSAA Commissioner Dr. Dan Ross, Associate Commissioner Dr. Deborah Moore or Assistant Commissioner Jerry Snodgrass will review the 2015 referendum issues and talk about topics of current interest.

The meetings will last approximately two hours and there is no cost to attend.
