Jerry Joseph was a former DTR Industries associate

Gerald L. “Jerry” Joseph, 64, died on Friday, Aug. 7, at 3:34 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on Sept. 17, 1950 in Lima, Ohio, to John “Buck” Joseph, Jr. and Goldie (Courtright) Breece. His father survives in Arizona. His mother is deceased and dad, Robert (Vicki) Breece survives in Lakeview. On May 20, 1996, he married Kathy L. Mann and she survives in Harrod.

Jerry retired as an electrician from Continental Plastics, Lima, and DTR Manufacturing, Bluffton. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533.

He is also survived by 3 daughters, Jen (Greg) Lyons of Lima, and their children, Morgan (Travis) Green, Mason Lyons, Marshall Lyons, Gavin Lyons, and Grant Lyons; Tara (Bill) Olin of Fostoria, and their children, Brady Fisher, Khloe Olin, and Shay Olin; and Lindsey (Shawn) Grener of Belle Center, and their children Ethan Grener, Mackenzie Grener, and Emma Grener; 4 brothers, twin brother Mike (Nancy) Joseph of Lakeview, Kenny (Carol) Joseph of Lakeview, Pat (Renee) Joseph of San Diego, CA, and Ed Breece of Lim; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor Mark Bayliff officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until the time of service on Thursday.
