Bluffton Community Pre-School featured program at Friday's chamber breakfast

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members will hear about the Bluffton Community Pre-School during its Friday, Dec. 11, breakfast meeting.

Shelly Matijevich, director of the pre-school, will present the program. The free breakfast is from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The program is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Following the program persons may meet Matijevich to learn more about the pre-school that is housed in First United Methodist Church.

Don Jose Mexican Restaurant will provide the breakfast.

Several additional items are on the program. Gary Reese, of Faith Investment Services, will be recognized, as his business is moving onto North Main Street. In addition, the owners of Li Co Chinese and Italian Restaurant will be introduced.

Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs will share information about its 2016 Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition that begins in January. This competition has two divisions. One is for start-up businesses and the second is for businesses with a 45817 zip code that are already established.

Winners of the downtown retail lighting contest will be recognized. First place window winner is Curling Icon. Second place is Webb Insurance. Third place is Town and Country Flowers.

Santa Claus will make an appearance at the breakfast. He will also be in Bluffton on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Bluffton Family Recreation and on Saturday, Dec. 19, at The Dough Hook. His Saturday visits are from 10 a.m. to noon.

2016 chamber membership stickers will also be handed out at the meeting.
