Bluffton's 2015 preliminary school test schools impressive

Bluffton students experienced outstanding scores in the Ohio Department of Education’s 2015 spring tests, according to figures released in November by the ODE.

Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent, told The Icon: "We are very pleased with our results and are continuing to work hard to prepare our students, not only on these assessments but to help prepare our students for success after graduation.

"These scores are a real tribute to our student, staff, parents, and community which all work together to have an excellent educational environment."

When compared to all other Allen County Schools, here’s how Bluffton’s individual classroom scores stacked up (these are approximate numbers).

English – Bluffton outscored or tied all county schools in 47 of 54 classroom results in the percent of students at the proficiency level or above
Mathematic – Bluffton outscored or tied all county schools in 66 of 72 classroom results in the percent of students at the proficiency level or above
Science – Bluffton students outscored or tied all county schools in 22 of 27 classroom results in the percent of students at the proficiency level or above
Social Studies – Bluffton students outscored or tied all county schools in 33 of 35 classrooms results in the percent of students at the proficiency level or above
