Officers arrested Scott Beach, 43, Bluffton, on an outstanding warrant out of Hancock County.

March 4
A Defiance resident reported child custody/safety issues. 

March 8
Police were called to an E Elm St residence in response to an argument over personal belongings.   

March 9
Officers responded to a Citizens Parkway business in response to an injured groundhog. The groundhog was dispatched due to its health condition. 

March 12
Police responded to the Riley Creek on Vance St. in response to possible drug paraphernalia being found.

March 15
Officers responded to a domestic dispute at a N. Jackson St residence. 

Officers handled a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 block of E. Kibler St.  Kevin Wood, 57, Ada was issued a citation for Improper Backing.     

March 16
Police responded to a Vance St residence in response to a mental health complaint.

March 17
Police were called to the elementary school in regards to a child custody disagreement.

March 18
A Snider Rd resident reported unknown persons had used his credit card account to make purchases out of state.

March 19
A Snider Rd business reported several vehicles had been damaged and had items taken while in the parking lot.

Police recovered stolen property from the Lima area in a dumpster on Snider Rd

A university student reported a gaming system was stolen from his dorm room.

Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 400 block of E College Ave. Brianna Keeler, 16, Bluffton was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance. 

March 23
Police responded to an E College Ave residence in response to a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to a N. Lawn Ave residence in response to an unruly juvenile. 

A Vance St business reported someone passing counterfeit checks at the business. 

March 24
A Bentley Rd resident reported an opossum was hit by a vehicle and was lying in their yard injured.  Officers responded and dispatched the animal. 

March 25
Police received a “sexting” complaint involving juveniles.   

March 29
Officers arrested Tiwane Robinson, 19, Lima, for DUS following a traffic stop on S. Main St for a speeding violation in the School Zone.      

March 30
Police responded to a robbery complaint at a N. Main St business.  After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the incident was fabricated.
