Bluffton HS, Bluffton College grad, Bill Swank recognized by OHSAA

Bill Swank a 1966 Bluffton High School and 1970 Bluffton College graduate, will be recognized on Saturday, June 11, as one of 15 Ohio High School Athletic Association Officials of the Year for 2015-16.

Also during the program will be the induction of 15 members to the OHSAA Hall of Fame.

Now retired, for many years, Swank was middle school principal, athletic director and coach in several sports at Van Wert. Although retired, he continues to work as a high school sports official.

For example, he was a judge for the state track meet pole vault this past week. He is a brother of Nancy Yeager and Linda Benroth of Bluffton.
