Beavers drop series finale to Rose-Hulman

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Rose-Hulman Insititute of Technology stayed atop the Heartland Conference standings by finishing a sweep of the Bluffton University Beavers, 10-5, on Sunday, April 17. The victory improves the Engineers to 19-7 overall and 11-3 in conference play, while the Beavers dropped to 9-19 overall and 4-11 in HCAC action.

Martin Painting has been contacted for work needed to the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool prior to the 2016 swim season. The firm will sand the pool bottom, then recoat it and then redo the shark bite and entry way.

Brayton Businger new president of Beaverdam Bunch 4-H Club

Brayton Businger was nominated as the president of The Beaverdam Bunch 4-H Club this year. 

Other new officers are Vice President Nick Jebsen, News Reporter Mallory Hardesty, Safety Officer Cierra Ackerman, Health Officer Caitlyn Couch, Recreation Rebekah Hoff and Olivia Spallinger, and Secretary Kaitlyn Thurmond. 

These elections were held at the Bluffton Middle School.  At this meeting we discussed that we will be doing community service by turning in any pop tabs we have to the Ronald McDonald house.
