Ralph Steiner, Jr., was a life-long farmer

Mt. Cory High School graduate, WWI veteran

Ralph Steiner, Jr., 92 died Nov. 3, 2016, at 4:17 a.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.  Ralph was born Feb. 26, 1924, in Mt. Cory to the late Ralph T. and Joyce (Amstutz) Steiner. On July 6, 1957, he married Beverly Schutz Steiner who survives.

Ralph was a graduate of Mt. Cory High School and was a life-long farmer. He was a past member of Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora, and College First Church of God in Findlay. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Philippines. 

Survivors also include a son T.R. (Judy) Steiner of Bluffton; a daughter, Kim (Doug) Hudson of Mt. Cory; five grandchildren, Dr. Emily Steiner of St. Louis, Missouri, Tad Steiner of Bluffton, Ibrahim Choudhry of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Suleymaan (Lexi) Choudhry of New York, New York, Zara-Yasmine (Russell Baird) Choudhry of Perrysburg, Ohio; three sisters, Marilyn (Leslie - deceased) Mokry of Lebanon, Ohio, Eleanor (Lester) Baum of Urbana, Ohio and Patricia (Max) Miller of Covington, Ohio.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Pastor Bill Reist officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
