Virginia Augsburger was a retired licensed practical nurse

Virginia G. Augsburger, 93, died Jan. 31, 2017, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Virginia was born July 6, 1923, in Bluffton to the late Clarence and Ethel J. (Michael) Roberts. On Feb. 3, 1946, she married Richard Augsburger who preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 2011.

Virginia was a 1941 graduate of Columbus Grove High School.  She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at various places in the medical field.  Virginia had also worked as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Benner in Bluffton.  She attended the Bluffton Baptist Church, was a member of the Poinsettia Club, Progressive Mother's Club and the Bluffton Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a son, James (Deborah) Augsburger of Bluffton; a daughter, Nancy Ann (Walter) Nagel of Middletown, Pennsylvania; three grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Elliott and a grandson, Kyle Trentman.

There will be no visitation or services and her wishes were to donate her body to the University of Toledo Medical Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Memorial Home or the Bluffton EMS.
