Legion holds Memorial Day parade and program May 29

Chicken barbecue from 11:30 to 1 p.m.

Bluffton's Memorial Day observance is Monday, May 29. Here is information about the day from the Bluffton American Legion Post 382.
 
• Anyone wishing to be in the parade, be in line by 9:15 a.m.
• Time of the parade: 9:30 a.m.
• Parade line up: Bluffton town hall
• Ceremonies: Maple Grove Cemetery

• Memorial Day speaker: Tim Wilmetta, pastor of the Bluffton First United Methodist Church and chaplain for the 489th Civil Affairs Battalion, Knoxville, Tennessee.

• Bluffton Boy Scout Troop 256 and Bluffton Girl Scouts will conduct a flag ceremony.

•Bluffton HS Marching Band, directed by David Sycks, will perform.

• Following the ceremonies the Legion will hold a chicken barbecue in Citizens National Bank parking, Main Street, from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. Tickets are $8.50.
