Maple Crest elders share their hobbies

Next Thursday in Patio Room

Elders of Maple Crest Senior Living Village will hold a hobby show from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 27.

The show, open to the public, takes place in the Patio Room of Maple Crest, 700 Maple Crest Court, Bluffton.

At least 17 elders will display hobbies ranging from carved art to toy farm equipment. Those include:

Pat Althaus – quilted runners
Eileen Basinger – crocheted afghan
Bob Bowersox – tole painting
Larry Burkhalter – framed photographs
Bob Hower – paintings
Joan Jones – pitcher collection
Paul Klassen – carved art items
Joanne Niswander – framed cross-stitch; 2 books
Sally Reeder – afghan; sweater; genealogy
Jerry Rhoad – framed puzzle
Judy Rodabaugh – paintings
Jim Smith – toy farm equipment
Dean Sommers – stained glass
Becky Sprunger – needlework
Helen Watkins – shell-framed mirrors
Nancy Williamson – sewing, quilting, and jewelry
Burton Yost – model train engines and engine photos
