Looks like a "back-to-school" agenda for school board

Board meeting also includes review of school treasurer and superintendent

Tonight’s Bluffton school board meeting agenda is filled with several actions to prepare for the 2018-19 school year.

Among those agenda items include acting on the resignation of Sarah Schulte, teacher, and offering her a one-year contract as learning disability tutor. Kerry Godsil will be offered one-year teaching contract at $39,297.

The board will act on the following proposed breakfast and lunch prices:

Breakfast –
Elementary, middle, high school, $1.50
Adults - $2

Lunch –
Elementary, $2.50
Middle school, $2.50
High school, $2/75
Adults, $3.25

The board will also act on hiring of elementary summer academy certified contracts taking place from Aug. 6 to Aug. 17

Some additional agenda items include:
• Executive session to discuss yearly evaluation and employment of the treasurer and superintendent
• Public library budget approval for 2019
• Action on transporting students to private schools
• Textbook disposal
• Transport agreement for low-incident handicapped students
• Athletic training coverage contract
• Career education review with Apollo for 7th and 8th graders
• Approval of 2018-19 bus route plan
• Action on fleet insurance for 2018-19
• Contracts, assignments, resignations
