Bob Lee was involved in several Pandora and Putnam County organizations

He graduated from Bluffton High School; served in the U.S. Navy

Robert "Bob" D. Lee, 90, died Jan. 26, 2019, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.  Bob was born June 22, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Garvin and Irttie (Dunlap) Lee.  On June 12, 1953, he married Miriam Basinger Lee who survives.

Bob graduated from Bluffton High School and the Northwest Business College in Lima.  He worked for Marathon Oil Company for 20 years and co-owner of the Community Pro Hardware in Pandora for 20 years.  Bob was a member of St. John Mennonite Church in Pandora where he had served on the church council as treasurer.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving for four years.  Bob had served on the Pandora Medical Board, the Putnam County EMS board and was a member of the Village of Pandora council. 

Survivors also include four sons, David (Corinne) Lee of Bluffton, Darrell (Vickie) Lee of Bluffton, James (Malissa) Lee of Alger, John (Beth) Lee of Pandora; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Anna Bixel of Bluffton.

Bob was preceded in death by a son, Scott Lee and a brother, Willard Lee.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora. Pastor Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 - 7 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Mennonite Church Youth Missions.
