Here's the Bluffton University September calendar of events

With the univeristy back in session, programming is underway for the new school year. Here is the September calendar of events at Bluffton University. Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Aug. 26-Oct. 18 Art Exhibit: “A Visual Reflection on Fear and Connection” by Merrill Krabill, professor of art, Goshen College, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Grace Albrecht Gallery, Sauder Visual Arts Center

Sept. 3 Forum: “Discernment on Purpose—Checking in on Your Best Life,” by Kathy Dickson, director of vocational discernment and community engagement, Methodist Theological School of Ohio, 11 a.m., Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall

Sept. 10 Forum: “President’s Reflections and Bluffton University Initiatives in 2019-20,” State of the University address by Dr. Jane Wood, 11 a.m., Yoder Recital Hall

Sept. 17 Forum: “The Policy of Stop-and-Frisk and its Impact on American Civil Liberties and the Right to Privacy,” Forum presentation by Judges Sean E. Leuthold ’88 and Shane M. Leuthold ’92, 11 a.m., Yoder Recital Hall

Sept. 19 Arts Event: Ball in the House, R&B/Soul/Pop acapella group based out of Boston, Mass., 7 p.m., Yoder Recital Hall, tickets are required and may be purchased online at http://tickets.bluffton.edu or at the Marbeck Center information desk. Sept. 24 Forum: Cross-Cultural Experience Forum, Bluffton University students report on their spring 2019 cross-cultural experiences in Bolivia, Botswana, Chicago, Israel/Palestine and Kentucky, 11 a.m., Yoder Recital Hall
