Fall festival update: here's what's happening at MMH and Maple Crest

Silent auction underway now at Mennonite Home

The Bluffton community’s 16th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Each day this week the Icon features one of the locations in the festival.

Here's what's happening at Mennonite Memorial Home
410 W. Elm St.

• A silent auction is now underway at the Mennonite Memorial Home.It continues until noon on Saturday.

• A bake sale is Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

• On Saturday is a food tent, crafts with Hilty Preschool and Child Care, S’mores with Bluffton/Pandora Campus Life, M&R Plumbing Putt-Putt, kiddie train, face painting, straw dig, fun photo booth, maple syrup and Lawn Jenga

At Maple Crest Senior Living Village
700 Maple Crest Ct.

• 10th annual antique tractor show
• music by The Standard Time Jazz Quintet, 11 – 11:45 a.m. and 1 – 1:45 p.m.
• Kiddie tractor pull, registration 12:30-1:00 p.m., pull starts 1 p.m.
• Fishing derby (bait and poles provided), 2-3 p.m.
Food for sale
• Wooden tractors/toys for sale.
