Village Personnel Committee meets September 17

The Village of Bluffton has announced that the council Personnel Committee will meet Friday, September 17, at noon at the Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

Village Council summary, September 13, 2021

The Village of Bluffton council meeting of September 13, 2021 included an historical gift to the village, proposed parking restrictions on a section of Lawn Avenue, sponsor naming rights for village park features, updated preliminary plans for the proposed Chestnut Lane subdivision, town hall clock repairs, and commendations for Office Eric Rayle.

The Village of Bluffton will hold the following meetings in September. The meetings will be held at Bluffton Town Hall, unless noted. Contact Jesse Blackburn at [email protected] for Zoom links.

Personnel Committee – Wednesday, September 15 at noon, via Zoom.

Parks & Recreation Committee – Monday, September 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Planning Commission Public Hearing – Monday, September 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Council Meeting – Monday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m.

School board agenda September 13

The school board meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on September 13 includes action items to approve several contracts including an educational aide, substitute custodian, and substitute teaches, and supplemental contracts for sports.

The board will also consider a resolution to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of a school bus.

The meeting will be held in the Elementary Media Center, 102 S Jackson St.
