The Inn at ONU has several Memorial Day weekend special events

The Inn at ONU, Ada, offers several special events and packages for Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24.

Starting at 5 p.m., Friday, May 22, Doug Adams will perform on guitar and vocals during The Inn’s Summer Jazzinn Blues, held in the courtyard. In addition to live jazz, the evening includes barbecue ribs, corn hole games and more. Summer Jazzinn Blues are held each Friday evening during the summer.

Then, on Sunday, May 24, a Memorial Weekend brunch served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

"Awesome" annual book sale at Book ReViews May 16

Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold its "awesome" annual book sale during the Saturday, May 16, Bluffton arts and crafts show, according to Dr. Christina Walton, store manager.

On Saturday in-store books are 50 percent off and tables of books are priced at 50 cents to $1. Visit the shop's booth at the festival. Also stop into the shop for some free books aned refreshments.

Book ReViews is an Et Cetera Shop Inc., nonprofit store with 50 percent of its proceeds supporting Mennonite world relief efforts.

Interdyne and Trans Vac under new ownership

Environmental and industrial service companies Interdyne Corporation and Trans Vac, Inc. are under new ownership. Long-time employees Clint Rolland and Bill Bresson joined previous owners Dan Lucke and Brad Prater. Lucke and Powell Prater purchased the companies in 1989.

“I was pleasantly surprised when asked about joining ownership in the companies where I have worked the last 21 years” said Rolland, “I am excited for this opportunity to grow professionally and I am ready to face the challenges that come with this new responsibility.”
