Transport For Christ annual banquet Feb. 25; reservation deadline Feb. 15

Transport for Christ (TFC) will host its annual banquet at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, at Marbeck Center, Bluffton University.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Meals are paid, but reservations are necessary by Feb. 15th. Contact Dave Lugibihl, 419-230-3294 or Nancy Spallinger, 419-296-0360 to make reservations, or to make a donation.

First Mennonite cancels choir rehearsals

All First Mennonite Church choir rehearsals are cancelled this evening, Feb. 2.

First Mennonite cancels Feb. 2 First Night program

First Mennonite Church has cancelled the First Night meal and programs for Wednesday, Feb. 2. The same meal and programs are rescheduled for Wednesday, March 30, according to Louise Wideman, associate pastor.

I found an old picture of my dad standing in front of his Massey-Harris tractor.

He was about the age that I am now. This reminded me of how values transfer fromgeneration to generation. I have, among other things, been a farmer all my life.

Body Gospel Fitness Class offered Mondays at Tri-County Assembly of God

A Body Gospel Fitness Class is being offered this winter at Tri-County Assemly of God, according to Rebecca Oaks, Independent Team Beachbody Coach.

Classes are at 7 p.m. on Mondays. There is no charge for this class. Participants may start at anytime and are encouraged to bring water. The class can be modified for any fitness level.

First United Methodist spaghetti dinner tickets now on sale

Bluffton First United Methodist Church is holding its annual spaghetti dinner, a fundraiser for its Youth Department, on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (church basement) at 116 Church St.

Tickets are available from now until Feb. 18 and can be purchased from any First UMC Middle or High School youth or in the church office (419-358-8921). Cost for the tickets is $7 each.
