Robin Sullivan speaker at County Line Church of the Brethren "The Wedding Feast"

Mothers Day dinner and program May 12

County Line Church of the Brethren, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod, invites women to The Wedding Feast, Saturday, May 12, at the church. Persons will gather at 5 p.m. and a catered meal is at 5:30 p.m.

Robin Sullivan, host of a radio program on ProclaimFM 102.3, Toledo, is the speaker. She has been to 15 countries sharing the Gospel including India where her ministry www.robinsullivan.com opened an orphanage and a church.

Five youth confirmed May 6 at Trinity Lutheran, Jenera

Five youth will be confirmed in the Christian faith on Sunday, May 6, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, during the 10:30 a.m. service. 

The confirmands are Millie Alge, Ethan Beach, Kendyll Gurney, Octavia Hassan and Ayden Kretz.
A regular service will be held at 8 a.m.  Beginning at 9:20 a.m., the confirmands will give a review of Bible teachings in a question and answer format.  All are welcome to attend and the church is handicapped accessible.

Beaverdam Church of Christ holds May 12 barbecue

Beaverdam Church of Christ will hold a chicken and rib barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 12, at the church.

Chicken dinners are $8 and the rib dinners $11. Each dinner includes baked potato, green beans, and roll. 

Eat In or drive thru. All money raised will go toward a wheel chair lift for the church bus. Contact 419-643-4301 for tickets.

Pandora community meal April 25

Pandora United Methodist Church will hold a free community meal from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, at the church fellowship hall.

The church is located at 108 W. Washington St., (State Route 12) Pandora. The meal is provided by the Rebecca Circle. The menu is ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, applesauce, dessert and beverage.

Pandora Missionary hosts May 5 mystery dinner

Pandora Missionary Church, 300 Rocket Ridge Way, Pandora, will hold a Cinco de Mayo “who dunit mystery dinner.”

The dinner is at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at the church. The dinner theme centers on the idea that the 10 commandments are missing and some needs to solve the mystery.

The dinner is open to persons 18 and older – no childcare will be provided. The meal includes a taco bar.

Banito Rodriguez is the featured speaker. Dress is casual. Seating is reserved and donations are accepted at the door.
