Pandora United Methodist Church will hold a free community meal on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 5:30- 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by Ted’s Market. The menu will include pulled pork sandwich, green beans, applesauce, dessert and beverage.

Bluffton Presbyterian Church is collecting items for disaster relief through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. The collect continues until Sunday, Oct. 8.
Donations may be dropped off at the church or Village Cut ‘n’ Curl, 212 Cherry St, or call Lynda Best at 419-296-2790.

English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., Bluffton, kicks off its fall programming Sunday, Sept. 10, according to Rev. Kevin Mohr, pastor.
"Come and join the people of English Lutheran Church for the journey to a living faith as we kick off our fall programming, starting at 9 a.m.," said Rev. Mohr.
"This special service will begin a three-month adventure in following Jesus through emphasizing seven basic faith practices: pray-study-worship-invite-encourage-serve-give."

Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church will host its fourth annual De Colores Dash 5K in the Bluffton village park at 10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 17.
Following the race there will be live music featuring Matt Deter and friends and fun inflatables including an obstacle course, bounce house, and Bungee Run.
Lunch is included in race registration of $20 per racer. For non-racers lunch is available for a freewill donation.
All proceeds beyond event expenses go to the Bluffton Food Pantry.

New to this year's Bluffton Fall Festival is a song-fest of sorts sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association, according to Rev. Jeremy Manns, pastor or Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
"The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) will set up a tent on the lawn of the Presbyterian Church as a sign of our local faith communities coming together in worshiping God through song," he told the Icon.
Performances by musicians from Bluffton congregations will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.
