The 5th Annual Quarry Farm Jam has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m., due to inclement weather on the originally-scheduled date. The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm, Pandora, hosts the organization's annual Jam for musicians and music enthusiasts.

Bluffton HS football moms invite groups to join this year's BHS homecoming parade.
The homecoming parade is Friday, Sept 28. The parade will form on the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool parking lot area at 5 p.m. The football moms said groups may show up and will be added to the line up.

On that fateful day, Aug. 6, 1945, Emiko was eating breakfast with her mother and older sister when suddenly there was a brilliant flash of light. The next thing she knew was that she was pinned to the tatami mat with a door on top of her.
Area residents will have the opportunity to hear stories like this when a PAX team of four from the World Friendship Center in Hiroshima, Japan, visits Bluffton on Thursday, Sept. 27.

Canadian musicians Sultans of String will perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series, according to Jeff Yoder.
The Sultans are three-time JUCO nominees (Canada’s Grammy) and have charted songs on Billboard.
Folk Radio UK recently described their music as “an enthralling, adventurous celebration of the power music has to transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, and Sultans of String wield that power with grace, eloquence and spirit.”

A Mom2Mom fall sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 15, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church gymnasium, 8905 Grove Road, Bluffton.
The event is sponsored by Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). Admission is free. A bake sale by donation and non-perishable food collection for the Bluffton Communtiy Assistance food pantry will also take place.
33rd annual Harvest and Herb Fest - parade, over 140 vendors, plus entertainment

The next big event on Ada's calendar is the 33rd annual Ada Area Chamber of Commerce's Harvest and Herb Festival in downtown Ada, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15. As in past year’s, it will fill Ada’s Main Street from Highland to College.
The festival has 180 spaces available for vendors and so far over 150 spaces are signed-up. Crafters are encouraged to register as soon as possible to insure a booth.
Booths are 12 feet wide by 8 feet deep and are available while they last.
