Free admission for the first 200 people at Bluffton pool

Riley Creek Arbor is sponsoring free pool admission for the first 200 people at the Bluffton Community Pool from noon – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.
Riley Creek Arbor of Gleaner Life Insurance Society regularly supports the local community through monetary and volunteer efforts. The Arbor consists of members from Bluffton, Lima, and surrounding communities.
The Inn at ONU has a summer of entertainment planned ranging from live music to a night of comedy and a family-friendly pirate and mermaid party. Here are the details:
Saturday, June 9, 5 p.m.
In celebration of National Rose’ Day, the Inn presents an Italian food and wine pairing. The evening includes live music in the garden courtyard with samplings of flatbreads from the grill, rose’ wines and Italian food.
Tickets are $50 per person, including tax and gratuities. Calling the Inn at 419-7872-4112 requires advance tickets.
In Bluffton we are fortunate to have curbside recycling to keep many of our recyclables out of landfills. But what about our food waste?
The public is invited to a free panel discussion about composting hosted by Transition Bluffton at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, in the 3rd floor Town Hall meeting room, 154 N. Main.
Join Sally Weaver Sommer, Jon Sommer and Wendy Chappell-Dick for a discussion about small scale and community composting. The program is designed for inexperienced and experienced composters alike.
The Bluffton town hall concert series announces two performances, according to Jeff Yoder. Both performances are free and open to the public.

ArtSpace/Lima announces The Exhibit Committee Exhibit, to run from June 8 through July 21, with an opening reception on Friday, June 8, 6:30-8:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.
Year after year, the ArtSpace Exhibit Committee offers advice and professional assistance in the construction of the ArtSpace exhibit schedule. This exhibit gives the members of that committee a chance to show their own work in a unique statement of the kinds of expertise we depend on.
