March is National Nutrition Month and this year’s theme is “Eat Right, Bite by Bite.” Sometimes it can be overwhelming with what to do first when you want to change your eating habits.
Simply start by trying to eat more variety. You can focus on one food group at a time. For example, think about some different vegetables or fruits you’ve never tried before.
On Monday Bluffton school students enter a new phase of learning. School was let out today and students will attend school remotely until early April in a new, never-tried learning experience. Students in public and private schools will visit their classrooms from home as Gov. Mike DeWine announced that schools will be closed due to COVID-19 crisis.
Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8374 Phillips Road, Bluffton, will hold its bi-annual fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 13. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for youth 10 and under.
The menu is all-you-can-eat fish, various hot and cold salads (such as potato salad, cheesy potatoes, mac and cheese, baked beans, taco salad, and cole slaw), plus other sides, a dessert and a beverage.

In response to COVID-19 and the current order on mass gatherings we have made the following decisions at this time:
1) Regular season games for indoor soccer and flag football scheduled for Saturday will still be played. We ask that spectators are limited to 1 per athlete. We know this isn't ideal but it's the only way to stay under the mass gatherings guidelines while still allowing the athletes to play.
