Village has opening for FT public works department employee

The village of Bluffton has an opening for a full-time public works department employee, according to Jesse Blackburn, village administrator.

Interested persons should drop off a resume with three references to:

It's graduation season. We've seen Bluffton HS grad signs in yards. Here's a message saying that"I'm moving on to next year." It's on a South Main Street front lawn of a student who attended St. Mary's Christian Preschool this year.

Teacher Appreciation Week was May 4-8. In cooperation with the Bluffton PTO, the Icon is posting drawings of elementary teachers created by elementary students.

Here's today's installment of the Bluffton High School Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight. Each weekday until the end of May the Icon will feature photos and future plans for four BHS seniors.  Students will be featured in a four-set random order.

OHSAA girls’ basketball state tourney moves to Dayton

The University of Dayton Arena will host the Ohio High School Athletic Association girls basketball state tournament for the next three years, OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass announced Tuesday. Having hosted 125 NCAA basketball tournament games, UD Arena has been the home court for March Madness more than any other facility in the country.
