Perry Bush at BPL Friends of the Library Tea, April 25

CORRECTION: An additional book credit has been listed.

At this writing on Tuesday, just seven tickets are still available for the annual Friends of the Library Tea at Bluffton Public Library on Thursday, April 25 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. 

The guest speaker is local author Perry Bush, a professor of history who has written three books:

Dancing With the Kobzar, Two Kingdoms, Two Loyalties: Mennonite Pacifism in Modern America and Rust Belt Resistance: How a Small Community Took on Big Oil and Won, and Peace, Progress and the Professor: The Mennonite History of C. Henry Smith.

Tickets for the formal tea are $20.00; cash or check accepted.

Steven C. Bruskotter taught and coached at Bluffton High School

OTTAWA __ Steven C. Bruskotter, 73, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1950, to Charles and Marilyn (Gulker) Bruskotter. On July 28, 1979, he married Mary Van Pelt who survives in Ottawa.
