Sally Tracy was a Bluffton High School graduate

Sally D. Tracy, 77, of Lima died at 4:05 p.m. March 7, 2016 ,at Lima Memorial Health System. Sally was born in Bluffton Aug. 15, 1938 to Ralph and Evelyn Porter Reichenbach.  On April 14, 1978 she married Bill Tracy and he survives. 

Sally was homemaker.  Sally and Bill had operated a soup kitchen at the Calvary Chapel of Praise, Lima.  he was a graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Bowling Green State University.

Terrill Webb to compete for national title in pole vault

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The NCAA announced final selections for the men’s and women’s Indoor Track & Field National Championship at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Bluffton University will be represented by junior Terrill Webb (Kenton) in women’s pole vault. Webb is tied for the 6th-best clearance in the nation among Division 3 athletes.

Narrowly missing qualification were fellow Beavers D’Nae Reese (Columbus/Upper Arlington), who finished 18th in women’s weight, and Edgar Gonzalez (Melvindale, Mich.), who ended up 19th in men’s weight.

Meet the BHS class of 1955 as 7th graders

This photo was taken on the old gymnasium stage and it's the entire Bluffton High School class of 1955 - only as 7th graders. There's some familiar names and faces in this photo. You'll find the names under the photo.

BHS grad heads to DIII track and field nationals for 4th time

Hannah Chappell-Dick, a senior at Eastern Mennonite University, has qualified  for the NCAA Division III track and field national meet for the fourth time.

Grinnell College (Iowa) hosts this year's national meet, March 11 and 12.

With her qualification, Chappell-Dick gets a chance to repeat as an All-American in the mile.  Her best time this season of 4:59.10 put her ninth in the 17-woman field.  Last year the three-time All-American was fourth heading into the national meet before running a 4:56.81 in the finals to take the silver medal.
