Icon holiday on Monday, October 9

The Ada Icon and Bluffton Icon will take a holiday break on Monday, October 1, Indigenous People's Day/Columbus Day.

Icon content will be on pause except for breaking news including sports and obituaries.

Celebrating fall in Bluffton

Sometimes the job of reporting for the Icon takes me out of my comfort zone. A case in point: the annual antique tractor show at Maple Crest which is a special feature of the Bluffton Fall Festival. The closest I’ve come to a tractor is an occasional hayride and the fact that my dad worked for Massey Ferguson in Detroit for most of my childhood.

1861 Wine Lounge is new Icon advertiser

Bluffton's newest Main St. business, 1861 Wine Lounge, is also the Icon's newest advertiser.

You'll find the ad on our home page and ther 1861 Wine Lounge menu on our Menu Page.

The lounge is open from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursdays,  noon-9:00 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
