What kind of year was 1992?

At first glance this plate appears to state "Ohio 1992." But, there's no doubt a second story here. It's just that we don't know that verse. Could it be a 1992 high school grad?

Drive Time Driving Instruction opens in Bluffton

Drivers' education classes for new drivers will be offered in Bluffton by Drive Time Driving Instruction LCC. Registration is now being accepted for the first Bluffton class, scheduled to begin May 2.

Drive Time Driving Instruction, LCC, a new business owned and operated by Doug and Sara Kisseberth, will provide the 24 hours of required classroom instruction and eight hours of behind-the-wheel training in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

What high school do you attend?

Yeah, we know. It's not a vanity plate. Even so, we've searched for "BHS" plates for a long time, have seen several, but never spotted one in Bluffton. Until now. Too bad the Ohio license bureau wouldn't make BHS plates available exclusively to Bluffton residents. That would make life interesting.

Icon viewer, Bo Antibus, on sabattical in Montana, spotted this plate in a Montana State University parking lot and passed it along to us. There's probably a similar plate from Ohio floating around somewhere.

Harmon Field stadium project will be re-bid

The Bluffton school board voted in a special meeting April 12 to re-bid the Harmon Field stadium renovation project after rejecting the previous bids.

According to Greg Denecker, superintendent, the initial bids on the stadium project were more than 10 percent above the preliminary estimate. The renovation is expected to total about $120,000.
