The Bluffton police department was involved in the recent investigation of Dr. James A. Gideon, M.D., Bluffton rheumatology and internal medicine physician, Ryan Burkholder, police chief, confirmed to the Icon on Monday.
Burkholder said that State Medical Board of Ohio contact the police department shortly after it began the investigation of Dr. Gideon involving sexual misconduct with patients.
Rob Glenn will show his Revolutionary War reenactment uniform and weapons during the Monday, July 10, Bluffton Senior Citizens monthly dinner meeting at the Center.
Glenn will also talk about the reenactments that he has participated in.
The dinner is at 6 p.m. and tickets of $8 each must be purchased by July 5.
Pauline Klingler who turns 90 in July will receive her life membership into the association.

While Roger may be the new poster child for the senior citizens, we've not yet heard the entire story of the bus trip.
Bluffton school board approved a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Bluffton Education Association (BEA) and Ohio Association Public School Employees (OAPSE) on Monday.
The agreement calls for a 2.9 percent pay increase each year effect July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2020, according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent.
In separate action, the board also approved 2.9 percent pay increased to its administrative staff of Denecker, Marden Herr, Kyle Leatherman, Michael Minnig, Paula Parish and Michael Wilson.
Ebenezer Drama Ensemble's dinner theatre takes place in earlly August.
“The Service at Rocky Bluff” billed as a two-act musical comedy, by Scott Icenhower, is the biennial dinner theatre presented by the Ebenezer Drama Ensemble in the Crossroads Ministry Center 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton.
Tickets are $10 and include dinner at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m. each evening.
The cast includes Kara Zink, Mary Glick, Sarah Lehman, Sam Brauen, Shawn Stevens and Kevin Gratz.
Band members are Janie Wireman, Roger Rhodes, Ray Harner and Dave Brauen.
