Transition Bluffton hosts a presentation on bicycling, including topics such as bicycle commuting, how to carry things on your bike, and safe interaction between bikes and cars.
The talk is Tuesday, July 18 at 7 p.m. in the community room of Bluffton town hall. The presenter is Raymond Harner, co-owner of CG Pro Bikes of Bluffton. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
Registration for Camp Laffalot held at Bluffton Family Recreation will be open until Tuesday, July 5, according to Joseph Beagle, BFR director.

Laffalot Summer Camp offers youth ages 6 to 12 a week of fun-filled activities. Camp is held from 9 a.m. to noon.
Marie R. Beach, 18, died June 19, 2017. Marie was born September 4, 1998, in Lima, to Scott D. and Jeanne M. (Nadeau) Beach who survive in Lima.
Marie had attended Shawnee High School, and graduated from ACE Academy. She soccer and played for Shawnee High School, Allen East High School and AC Elite Soccer Club. Marie was an active member of the 4-H and Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ada.
Earlier this spring when she was appointed to the position she added her name to the long-standing list in the town’s history.

This past Friday’s Bluffton Relay for Hope’s pie auction generated $2,104 for the cause. Dave Warren was auctioneer of the pie event with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
