“Sing,” a family-friendly animated movie, will be shown free on Friday, June 16, at 9:15 p.m., on the Presbyterian Church lawn, corner of Main and Cherry streets, Bluffton.
As a nod to the vintage cars that will be cruising down Bluffton’s streets that evening during the Festival of Wheels, freshly made popcorn will be available for 10 cents a bag.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a fun, old-fashioned movie experience. In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the church sanctuary.
The event sponsored by Ignite of Bluffton Presbyterian Church.
The Bluffton Senior Center announced its trips for the summer and fall, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Trips follow:
• July 16-22, Bob and Bev Painter will accompany the group to Branson, Mo., and the Ozarks with 7 fantastic shows including the Sight and Sounds Theater. Cost is $864 for members and $882 for non-members.
Bluffton was well represented at the NWC/WBL all-star football game this past Friday night by Jason Bracy (2) starting corner back and Colin Phillips (58) starting center.

Phillips did a good job at pass blocking and run blocking.
Bracy contributed several tackles and was able to intercept the ball at the 2-yard -line stopping a scoring drive in the first half and also blocked the game winning pass for the other team with 45 seconds left on the clock ensuring the NWC team would win 24 to 21.
Bluffton council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, in the town hall, according to Nancy Kindle, village fiscal officer. The purpose of the meeting is personnel - hiring.
The village will review engineering proprosals for the West Elm Street water line project at 9 a.m., Monday, June 19.
