The 2017 commencement will be held at noon,Tuesday, May 30, at the St. Rita’s Medical Center Auxiliary Center. This class of interns represents Bluffton, Lima Senior High School, Allen East, Delphos and Elida high schools.
Graduates of Project Search will don caps and gowns for a commencement celebrating their accomplishments and successful completion of the work-training program.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced the spring honorees of the HCAC All-Academic awards for the 2017 school year. Nineteen Bluffton University athletes were recognized for their efforts in the classroom.
Bluffton Relay for Hope will hold a picnic on the lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, June 4, on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn, according to Lynda Best.
The event includes grilled hamburger or hot dog, potato salad, chips and cookies for $6. Drinks are also available and are extra.
All proceeds benefit the Relay for Hope taking place Friday, June 23, at BFR. Pre-sale picnic tickets are on sale at Village Cut 'n' Curl or RSVP at www.facebook.com/blufftonpc.
Krysti's Music Studio has a series of student recitals scheduled this month.
They are all at Rockport United Methodist Church, 5505 Rockport Road, Columbus Grove, with the exception of two recitals held at Shawnee Alliance in Lima, 4455 Shawnee Road.
Students will perform on piano, guitar, voice, violin, and more. Here are the dates and times:

We spend the month of May learning about Bluffton. This is our first of three Bluffton history walks.
Visitors to the Ada railroad depot park can't help but notice the purple irises now in full bloom. The park, with its Pennsylvania Railroad caboose in the background, is on Ada's Main Street.
