Letter: Thanks for your support on school levy

On behalf of the Bluffton Schools Board of Education and the levy committee, I would like to thank you for your support of our levy on Tuesday, May 6.  As always, we at Bluffton Schools will continue to work hard to give our students an excellent education while remaining conscientious of the finances of the district.  We are very proud of our school and the community that supports it.  Thank you, again, for all you do for our district!

Book it to the library before the book sale ends

Better book it to the library. 

The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library's semi-annual book sale is underway now through Saturday, May 10.

Remaining sale hours are:
May 9, 9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.
May 10, 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.

All kinds of books can be purchased by donation. Proceeds help fund library
programs. Come have a cup of coffee and a cookie while you browse.  Located on the lower
level of the Bluffton Public Library.

Saturday - downtown Bluffton - crafts, llamas, farmers market, entertainment, pony rides - it's Bluffton's arts and crafts show

Quilted baby blankets, fabric toys, bags, pies and caramel corn, home decor, pottery, fragrances, headbands, hair clips, jewelry made from silverware, wire yard ornaments, handmade wooden tables and lots, lots more.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce's 43th annual arts and crafts show takes up Main Street from the post office to the town hall on Saturday.

Crafty ideas

You name it - every craft you can think of will be on Main Street Bluffton on Saturday. Here's a scene from last year's show. This year over 80 crafts and business booths will be on Main Street from the post office to the town hall. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here's the Mustard Seed Cafe's Mothers' Day menu

Mothers' Day Brunch will be offered at Mustard Seed Café on Sunday from 10-2. There will be no breakfast hours and no regular menu. Reservations are suggested: 567-226-1120.

Karen Mitterholzer wins April cash mob shopping spree

Karen Mitterholzer of Bluffton is the April Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce cash mob shopping spree winner. Her entry was drawn from persons who attended the cash mob at Town and Country Flowers on April 30.

She wins a $25 shopping spree at Town and Country Flowers, compliments of the chamber, plus a flower bouquet from Town and Country.

Bluffton's next cash mob is Wednesday, May 28, at Timeless Treasures Christian Books, 124 N. Main St. Watch the Icon for more details about May's cash mob.
