The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will be presenting their Christmas Cantata "Season of Praise" written by Joseph M. Martin on Sunday, December 8 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.

The church service and refreshments after are open to the public. The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Pat Michel. The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E Washington Street in Pandora. 

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, will hold special Advent services on the first three Wednesdays in December, each beginning at 7:00 p.m. 

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will hold a special service of thanks on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, at 9:30 AM.  

The readings are Deuteronomy 8:10-18 and Philippians 4:10-20. The sermon will be from Luke 17:11-19, the account of Jesus healing the ten lepers and only one thanked Him. 

Hymns will be "All People that on Earth Do Dwell; O Bless the Lord, My Soul; Now Thank We All our God; SIng to the Lord of Harvest; and I Am Trusting You, Lord Jesus" 

Members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jenera will observe the annual Shipwreck Remembrance on Sunday, September 15.

The church notes that the 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. services "will give praise to the Lord for saving the lives of passengers on the 'Famous Dove' when it was shipwrecked off the east coast of the United States on September 17, 1831.

Trinity Lutheran Church of Jenera has announced that their educational play-dates will begin on September 16 and 17 and continue on the first and third Monday and Tuesday of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church, 301 North Main Street.

A second session is held on Mondays from 11:00-12:00 (each of the three sessions are the same.) 

Advance registration is required online at tlcjenera.org or by calling 262-391-7994. The cost is $5 per family (not per child) per session. Payment may be by cash or check. If a session is full, there is a waiting list.

Bluffton Presbyterian Church is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2024. The church, originally called The Presbyterian Church of South Bethel, was organized June 6, 1849. The first members met in various homes. In 1852 the Goble heirs donated the land where the present church now stands. The first building was erected soon after.

As a kickoff to the celebrations, the church will present  “The Story of Jesus in Music” on Sunday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m.  The public is invited to this concert which features three professional harpists, violin, viola, guitar, hand bells, choir and a narrator. Light refreshments will be served after the one-hour concert.

During Bluffton History Day on August 10, Bluffton Presbyterian will be serving Lunch on the Lawn from 10:00-1:30 with sandwiches, chips, drinks and desserts for sale.
