MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will hold its final Advent Service on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 7:00  p.m. . The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes of Trinity Lutheran School will present their Christmas service, "To Us A Child Is Born." 

A free supper will be served from 5:30-6:30  p.m. .  All are welcome to attend the supper and the services and the church is handicapped accessible.  

Regular Sunday Services are at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. with Bible Classes for all ages beginning at 9:20 a.m.

MEDIA RELEASE––Christmas for Kids will be held at Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera, on Saturday, December 13 from 12:30-3:00  p.m. This one-day free Christmas VBS will give children ages 3 through 5th grade an opportunity to celebrate and learn about the true meaning of Christmas. 

MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will celebrate Advent with three Wednesday evening services before Christmas.

On Dec. 3, at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Nicolas Lilienthal of Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Bowling Green will preach on Genesis 4, noting that Adam's son Cain was a killer, but the ultimate son of Adam, Jesus, died to pay for our sins. 

The service of Evening Prayer includes readings from Titus 3 and Luke 1, and hymns "The Angel Gabriel," "O Lord How Shall I Meet You," and "All Praise to Thee, My God This Night."

MEDIA RELEASE__The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will present their Christmas Cantata written by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, December 7 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.

The church service and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards are open to the public.

The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Pat Michel. The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E Washington Street in Pandora. ◾️

MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will celebrate Thanksgiving with a song service, beginning at 9:30 a.m., on Thanksgiving Day.

The theme is "Celebrate the Lord's Blessings with Joy."

The hymns are: "We Sing the Almighty Power of God," "We Praise You, O God, Our Redeemer," "Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven," "Sing to the Lord of Harvest," "Now Thank We All Our God," and "Let All Things Now Living." 

Pastor Bob Krueger's sermon will be based on Ezra chapter 6.

Members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will observe the annual Shipwreck Remembrance on Sunday, September 21. The services, at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., will give praise to the Lord for saving the lives of passengers on the “Famous Dove” when it was shipwrecked off the east coast of the United States on September 17, 1831.
