The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs has announced the winners in the 2020 Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition.

The winners are listed  and a video of the awards presentation is below. The contestants are emerging businesses from the four-county area surrounding Bluffton.

The kidneys are vital organs serving many important roles in your body including, filtering your blood and controlling your blood pressure. Unfortunately, they are also prone to developing abnormal cysts and tumors, some of which are cancerous. 

Kidney cancer is in the top 10 most common cancers in the United States. The American Cancer Society estimates that over 70,000 Americans will be diagnosed with kidney cancer this year alone.

There are many options available for hair removal. People will use chemical depilatories, electrolysis, shaving or wax to remove hair.

A less painful option may be sugaring as well as laser hair removal for a more permanent hair removal option. 

Any area where you may have undesired hair is an option for hair removal. A few popular examples for men are shoulders, back, upper arms and nape of the neck.

Drive Time Driving Instruction back on the road again

Drive Time Driving Instruction announces plans to resume in-car instruction in early May, according to Sara and Doug Kisseberth, owners of the Bluffton-based school.

Gov. DeWine has set for an opening of select non-essential businesses for May 1. Drive Time is planning to resume in-car instruction on May 5 and in-person classroom on May 31 (subject to change).

"We are taking Gov. DeWine’s challenge to heart and are preparing for in-person driver’s training in a world where the Coronavirus still exists, and anybody could be a carrier," said Sara.

HCAC basketball coaches come together

Raising funds for COVID-19 relief

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) men’s and women’s basketball coaches have united in an effort to raise money for COVID-19 relief, donating funds to the Jeremy Lin Foundation.

Along with their donation efforts, the HCAC coaches have challenged the men’s and women’s basketball coaches from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) to raise money for COVID relief.

Donations to the Jeremy Lin Foundation go directly to “Feeding America” and "Direct Relief”, which are a pair of organizations supported by former NBA player Jeremy Lin.
