Take a final look at the now-closed Burger King restaurant at 499 State Route 103. In early August the building will be removed. A national franchise company, Dunkin’ Donuts, announced plans to construction a restaurant on that property. Demolition of the BK building will begin Aug. 3. Dunkin’ Donuts anticipates a mid-November construction completion. Watch the Icon for more details coming.
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Council of Presidents decision

After extensive deliberations, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Council of Presidents has unanimously voted to modify the timing of conference competition and championships for fall sports classified by the NCAA as high contact risk (football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball).

Nand Lal Girotra, 80, died July 26, 2020 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
Nand Lal was born Jan. 1, 1940, in India to Ram Lal and Ramditti (Dhingra) Girotra who preceded him in death. He was raised by his father and step-mother, He married Santosh Katyal Girotra who survives.
