Buckeye Park will soon enter the 21st century with a state-of-the-art restroom. The project has had several delays but seeing the doors installed is a hopeful sign for the weary traveler.

A set of U.S. postal service stamps this spring reminded several area historians, artists and stamp collectors of Bluffton's historic post office mural.
Bluffton's mural depicts Joseph Deford and his friends building a cabin in Bluffton (Shannon). Sante Graziani painted the Bluffton mural in 1941, which is oil on canvas.
The Icon spotted a mother deer with a fawn in the stream leading to the village park. The two were having a water break, but mother deer was on constant lookout. While the Icon photographer watched, the two quietly slipped into a wooded area near the stream bank, watching still - see the next picture.
